  1. Perform mobile phlebotomy services, traveling to patients' homes to collect blood and other specimens for testing.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely collection and labeling of specimens, following all necessary protocols and procedures.
  3. Adhere to all safety and infection control measures to protect both patients and yourself.
  4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion when interacting with patients, providing them with a positive and comfortable experience.
  5. Utilize strong communication skills to effectively explain procedures and answer any questions patients may have.
  6. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients.
  7. Keep accurate and detailed records of all specimens collected and tests performed.
  8. Maintain and regularly calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  9. Stay updated on current phlebotomy techniques and best practices to continuously improve and provide the highest quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Phlebotomist: A Mobile Phlebotomist At Unitedhealth Group Must Be A Certified Phlebotomist, With A Valid Certification From A Recognized Accreditation Agency Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).

  • Experience In Mobile Phlebotomy: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Mobile Phlebotomy, With A Proven Track Record Of Performing Successful Blood Draws In A Variety Of Settings Such As Homes, Clinics, And Long-Term Care Facilities.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds. They Should Also Have A Compassionate And Empathetic Approach Towards Patient Care.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: A Mobile Phlebotomist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Phlebotomy, Including The Use Of Equipment And Safety Protocols To Ensure Accurate And Safe Blood Draws.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As A Mobile Phlebotomist, The Candidate Should Be Flexible And Available To Work During Non-Traditional Hours, Including Weekends And Evenings. They Should Also Have A Reliable Means Of Transportation To Travel To Different Locations For Blood Draws.
