  1. Perform mobile phlebotomy services for patients in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Utilize excellent technical skills to collect and handle blood specimens according to established procedures.
  3. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of blood collection and handling.
  4. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to protect both patients and coworkers.
  5. Demonstrate compassionate and empathetic communication with patients to ensure a positive patient experience.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
  7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to blood collection and handling.
  8. Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and laboratory staff.
  9. Keep accurate and thorough records of blood collection activities, including patient demographics and specimen information.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and upholding the company's mission and values.
  13. Travel to various locations as needed to provide mobile phlebotomy services.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Certification And Training:

  • Applicants Should Have A Valid Phlebotomy Certification From An Accredited Institution, As Well As Recent Training In Proper Blood Collection Techniques And Safety Protocols.

  • Previous Experience:

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Mobile Phlebotomist Is Preferred. This Includes Experience With Both Routine Blood Draws And Difficult Collections, Such As Pediatric Or Elderly Patients.

  • Flexibility And Time Management Skills:

  • Mobile Phlebotomists Must Be Able To Adapt To Changing Schedules And Locations, As Well As Manage Their Time Efficiently To Ensure All Appointments Are Completed In A Timely Manner.

  • Excellent Communication Skills:

  • As A Mobile Phlebotomist, You Will Interact With A Variety Of Patients And Healthcare Professionals, So Strong Communication Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Explain Procedures, Answer Questions, And Provide Clear Instructions For Follow-Up Care.

  • Ability To Work Independently:

  • Mobile Phlebotomists Often Work Independently, Traveling To Different Locations And Managing Their Own Schedule. Therefore, Applicants Should Have A Strong Sense Of Responsibility And The Ability To Work Autonomously.
