Medical Records Technician

Track status of all escalated information requests in Medical Record tracking database. Serves as a liaison and monitors CQM tasks conducted by the fulfillment and medical records areas. Performing follow up activities on medical records requests escalated from the fulfillment team ensuring departmental timeliness requirements are met. Processes received medical records invoices. Maintains the Medical Record tracking database. Assists clinical staff with the preparation of case files for committees as needed Assists with development and maintaining up to date documents, such as correspondence templates, policies and procedures and work instructions related to medical records functions. Data entry and conducts audits within agreed upon timelines. Runs reports and complete analysis within agreed upon timelines. Reviews issues/trends, develops interventions when needed.
