- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with endocrine disorders.
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vitals, recording medical history, and updating patient records.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.
- Educate patients on their condition, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking and ordering supplies.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely billing for services.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and empathy when interacting with patients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the physician’s schedule.
- Continuously strive to provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the Endocrinology team.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credential From An Accredited Institution Or Equivalent Certification
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical Office Or Clinic Setting, Preferably In Endocrinology
Strong Knowledge Of Endocrine Disorders And Treatments
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Medical Terminology
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
