  1. Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their appointments.
  3. Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately and efficiently.
  4. Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with procedures and treatments.
  5. Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
  6. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens.
  7. Maintain and update patient records and charts.
  8. Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients.
  9. Provide patient education and answer any questions or concerns.
  10. Ensure proper sanitation and sterilization of equipment and exam rooms.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
  12. Adhere to all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
  14. Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Medical Assistant Position At Unitedhealth Group Is A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Capable Of Handling The Job Responsibilities.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credentials: Unitedhealth Group Prefers Candidates With A Cma Certification From An Accredited Institution. This Certification Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Proficiency And Knowledge In The Field Of Medical Assisting.
