- Conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare data, including claims, utilization, and costs, to identify trends and patterns that can inform decision-making
- Develop and maintain economic models and tools to evaluate the impact of healthcare policies and interventions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, finance, and clinical teams, to provide insights and recommendations that drive business strategy
- Stay up-to-date on current healthcare trends, policies, and regulations to inform analysis and recommendations
- Communicate complex economic concepts and findings to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
- Lead and participate in projects to improve the quality and affordability of healthcare for our members
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data analysis and reporting
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to advance our goals and objectives
- Mentor and train junior team members on economic analysis and healthcare policy
- Act as a subject matter expert on healthcare economics, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Economics: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Knowledge Of Healthcare Systems, Policies, And Regulations. They Should Also Possess A Strong Understanding Of Economic Principles, Such As Supply And Demand, Cost-Benefit Analysis, And Market Dynamics.
