As the manager of our Epic Ancillary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our electronic health record system.   1. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Epic electronic health record system for the organization.
  2. Lead and manage a team of Epic Ancillary analysts and specialists, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
  3. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, IT staff, and other departments.
  4. Monitor and analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards related to electronic health records.
  6. Develop and maintain system documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
  7. Collaborate with other managers and teams to ensure seamless integration of Epic Ancillary applications with other systems and processes.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in Epic applications, and make recommendations for system enhancements.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical support and troubleshooting for Epic Ancillary applications.
  10. Develop and implement training programs for end-users to ensure efficient and effective use of the system.
  11. Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Epic Ancillary team and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of processes.
  12. Manage projects related to Epic Ancillary applications, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and monitoring progress.
  13. Ensure data integrity and security of the electronic health record system.
  14. Continuously monitor and assess system performance, identifying and addressing any issues or inefficiencies.
  15. Participate in the development and implementation of organization-wide strategic initiatives related to the electronic health record system.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Epic Systems Software, Including Implementation, Customization, And Maintenance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Proven Ability To Manage And Lead A Team, Including Setting Goals, Providing Feedback, And Driving Performance Improvement.
