  1. Oversee the implementation and management of ancillary applications within the Epic electronic health record system.
  2. Develop and maintain project plans and timelines for the implementation and optimization of ancillary applications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues or challenges related to the ancillary applications.
  4. Ensure the successful integration of ancillary applications with other systems and workflows within the Epic system.
  5. Monitor and manage the performance of ancillary applications, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, clinical staff, and leadership, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  7. Serve as the subject matter expert for ancillary applications, providing guidance and support to end-users and training opportunities as needed.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to ancillary applications and make recommendations for improvements or updates to the current system.
  9. Manage and mentor a team of Epic application analysts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the success of the ancillary applications.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and compliance guidelines, to ensure the security and confidentiality of patient information.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation and new ideas to enhance the functionality and usability of ancillary applications.
  12. Participate in regular meetings and reporting to provide updates on the status of ancillary applications and any potential issues.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent UnitedHealth Group positively in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Managing Ancillary Services Within A Healthcare Organization.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Epic Electronic Health Record Software And Ancillary Modules.

  • Proven Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
