
Epic Ancillary Manager

- Oversee the implementation and management of ancillary applications within the Epic electronic health record system.
- Develop and maintain project plans and timelines for the implementation and optimization of ancillary applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues or challenges related to the ancillary applications.
- Ensure the successful integration of ancillary applications with other systems and workflows within the Epic system.
- Monitor and manage the performance of ancillary applications, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, clinical staff, and leadership, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for ancillary applications, providing guidance and support to end-users and training opportunities as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to ancillary applications and make recommendations for improvements or updates to the current system.
- Manage and mentor a team of Epic application analysts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the success of the ancillary applications.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and compliance guidelines, to ensure the security and confidentiality of patient information.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation and new ideas to enhance the functionality and usability of ancillary applications.
- Participate in regular meetings and reporting to provide updates on the status of ancillary applications and any potential issues.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent UnitedHealth Group positively in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Managing Ancillary Services Within A Healthcare Organization.
Strong Knowledge Of Epic Electronic Health Record Software And Ancillary Modules.
Proven Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
