
Customer Service Representative Team Lead

- Lead and manage a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance, support and mentorship.
- Ensure team members are meeting performance goals and provide coaching and feedback as needed.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing team members.
- Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and complaints.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, and policies to effectively assist customers and train team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, changes, and goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development to enhance leadership skills.
- Act as a role model for exceptional customer service, leading by example for team members.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service to suggest and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with recruitment and hiring of new team members.
- Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members.
Strong Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Handle Complex Customer Inquiries And Escalations.
Proven Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, With A Track Record Of Driving Performance And Achieving Team Goals.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry And Experience With Unitedhealth Group Products And Services Preferred.
