  1. Conduct regular audits of coding processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  2. Identify and investigate any discrepancies or errors in coding and work with coding team to resolve them.
  3. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall accuracy and efficiency of coding processes.
  4. Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any coding-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  6. Provide training and support to coding team on best practices and coding guidelines.
  7. Analyze coding data and generate reports to track and monitor quality metrics.
  8. Participate in coding team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert on coding processes and guidelines.
  10. Serve as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality within the coding team.
  13. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's mission and values.
  14. Proactively identify potential risks or issues in coding processes and escalate them to management.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the coding manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Coding Quality Analysis For Healthcare Organizations.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Coding Systems, Such As Icd-10, Cpt, And Hcpcs.

  • Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Or Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Certification.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With A Keen Eye For Detail And Accuracy.
