- Provide training and education: Train new coders on coding guidelines and regulations and provide ongoing education to the team to ensure coding quality.
- Monitor coding accuracy: Utilize coding accuracy metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze data: Analyze audit data and provide reports and insights to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Communicate coding updates: Stay informed about changes in coding guidelines and regulations and communicate updates to the coding team.
- Identify coding trends: Monitor coding trends and patterns to identify potential areas of risk and work with the team to address them.
- Maintain documentation: Keep accurate records of all audits and maintain documentation of coding processes and procedures.
- Stay current with industry standards: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in coding quality and incorporate them into daily practices.
- Uphold company values: Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold the organization's values and standards at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Software Quality Assurance Or Coding Quality Analysis
Knowledge Of Coding Standards And Guidelines, Such As Icd-10 And Cpt Coding
Proficiency In Using Coding Software And Electronic Medical Record Systems
