  1. Conduct quality audits: Perform regular audits of coding practices to identify any errors or discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvement.
  2. Ensure compliance: Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines and regulations and ensure that all coding practices are in compliance with them.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with coding teams, physicians, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, address any concerns, and implement best practices.
  4. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives: Use audit results to identify areas for improvement and work with the team to develop and implement quality improvement programs.
  5. Provide training and education: Train new coders on coding guidelines and regulations and provide ongoing education to the team to ensure coding quality.
  6. Monitor coding accuracy: Utilize coding accuracy metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  7. Analyze data: Analyze audit data and provide reports and insights to leadership and other stakeholders.
  8. Communicate coding updates: Stay informed about changes in coding guidelines and regulations and communicate updates to the coding team.
  9. Identify coding trends: Monitor coding trends and patterns to identify potential areas of risk and work with the team to address them.
  10. Maintain documentation: Keep accurate records of all audits and maintain documentation of coding processes and procedures.
  11. Stay current with industry standards: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in coding quality and incorporate them into daily practices.
  12. Uphold company values: Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold the organization's values and standards at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Software Quality Assurance Or Coding Quality Analysis

  • Knowledge Of Coding Standards And Guidelines, Such As Icd-10 And Cpt Coding

  • Proficiency In Using Coding Software And Electronic Medical Record Systems

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy
