  1. Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the team's success.
  2. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of financial data and promote best practices.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the accounting department.
  5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to senior management.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  8. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documents prepared by the accounting team.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
  10. Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  11. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to provide updates on financial performance and address any issues or concerns.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as generally accepted accounting principles.
  15. Display a strong commitment to the company's mission and values, and act as an ambassador for the organization both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Finance, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And Financial Reporting Standards.

  • Experience Working In A Healthcare Or Insurance Industry Preferred.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Develop A Team.
