
Account Manager - Health Plan Medicare

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Manage a portfolio of Medicare accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and strategic planning.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Medicare products and services, providing guidance and support to both internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and identify areas for growth and improvement within the Medicare business.
- Monitor and track key performance metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Medicare market, leveraging industry knowledge and competitive intelligence.
- Lead presentations and meetings with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of UnitedHealth Group’s Medicare offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities for the business.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of any issues or concerns.
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the account management team.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Account Management Or Sales Within The Healthcare Industry, Specifically In Medicare And/Or Health Plans.
Strong Understanding Of Medicare Regulations And Reimbursement Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Data Analysis And Reporting, With Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Relevant Software.
