  • Develop and implement vocational rehabilitation programs that align with the mission and goals of the United States Department of Education
  • Collaborate with individuals with disabilities, employers, and other stakeholders to assess needs, develop individualized plans, and provide resources and support for successful employment outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date on disability laws and regulations, ensuring all programs are in compliance and advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities
  • Use strong communication skills to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals, including individuals with disabilities, employers, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of vocational rehabilitation programs, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement
  • Conduct trainings and workshops for individuals with disabilities, employers, and other stakeholders on disability laws, accommodations, and best practices for successful employment outcomes
  • Stay informed on current research, trends, and innovations in the field of vocational rehabilitation to inform program development and implementation
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities and outcomes
  • Represent the United States Department of Education at conferences, forums, and other events related to vocational rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to promote and enhance vocational rehabilitation programs and services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Psychology, Counseling, Or Social Work.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Vocational Rehabilitation Laws, Regulations, And Policies.

  • Experience Working With Individuals With Disabilities And/Or In The Field Of Vocational Rehabilitation.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Clients, Colleagues, And Other Agencies.

  • Ability To Assess And Develop Individualized Rehabilitation Plans And Provide Counseling And Support To Clients Throughout The Rehabilitation Process.
