Job Description

As a Visual Information Specialist at the United States Department of Defense, you will be responsible for creating meaningful visual media that communicates complex information in a clear and concise manner. You will be working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and will have the opportunity to use your creativity and technical expertise to create engaging visual media for a wide range of audiences.To excel in this position, you should have a strong passion for visual media and a creative eye for detail. You should have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Media Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field, and experience working with design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and/or After Effects. It is also important that you have excellent communication and problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create high-quality visual media to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  2. Use design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and/or After Effects to create engaging visual media.
  3. Work collaboratively with teams in a professional environment.
  4. Utilize excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in visual media.
  6. Maintain quality control to ensure all visual media meets the standards of the Department of Defense.
  7. Manage multiple projects and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
