
Transportation Planner

Responsibilities of a Transportation Planner:
- Develop and implement transportation plans and strategies to meet the needs of the Department of Defense.
- Monitor and analyze transportation and logistics data to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other Departments and organizations to ensure efficient transportation and logistics operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient management of transportation and logistics operations.
- Develop and manage transportation and logistics budget.
- Identify and analyze potential risks and recommend solutions.
- Ensure safe and secure transportation of goods and services.
- Troubleshoot transportation and logistics-related issues.
