Job Description

The U.S. Department of Defense seeks a highly talented and experienced Training and Curriculum Specialist to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity to apply your professional training and curriculum development experience to a critical mission. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented person who is able to work in a fast-paced environment.The Training and Curriculum Specialist will be responsible for developing and designing training materials, programs, and curricula that support the Department of Defense's mission. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully designing and delivering training content, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and design training materials, programs, and curricula that support the Department of Defense's mission.
  2. Collaborate with senior staff and other stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
  3. Create and implement effective training programs to support the mission.
  4. Develop, review, and revise training materials and curricula to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
  5. Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure effectiveness.
  6. Develop and maintain training databases and other records.
  7. Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on training issues.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate the sharing of resources.
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to training and curriculum development.
  10. Create and deliver presentations, workshops, and other training sessions.
