Job Description

We at the United States Department of Defense are looking for a talented and motivated Ophthalmologist-Glaucoma Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of ophthalmic diseases related to the eyes. As a highly-skilled and knowledgeable Ophthalmologist-Glaucoma Specialist, you will be a key member of our team and will be expected to provide exceptional patient care.The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited university• Board Certification in Ophthalmology• At least 3 years of experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of glaucoma• Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures of general and specialized ophthalmology• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsIf you have the qualifications and experience we are looking for and are excited at the prospect of working with us, please apply today!

Responsibilities:

  1. Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with various ophthalmic diseases, with a special focus on glaucoma.
  2. Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of ophthalmic diseases.
  3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
  4. Educate patients and their families regarding treatments and preventive measures.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments.
  6. Keep up to date with the latest developments in ophthalmology and glaucoma research.
  7. Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families.
  8. Follow all relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards of practice.
