Mobile Equipment Operator

The United States Department of Defense is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join our team as Mobile Equipment Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and operating heavy equipment used in construction and other activities. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating heavy equipment, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and must have a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, bulldozers, and other construction machinery, in accordance with safety protocols.
2. Make necessary repairs and adjustments to heavy equipment as needed.
3. Load and unload materials and supplies to be used for construction.
4. Monitor vehicles and equipment to ensure they are running safely and efficiently.
5. Maintain logbooks that track vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair history.
6. Ensure all safety regulations and laws are adhered to while operating heavy equipment.
7. Follow instructions from supervisors and work in a team environment.
8. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risk of injury or property damage.
9. Monitor the job site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
