
Defense Travel Administrator
The United States Department of Defense is looking for an experienced and organized Defense Travel Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for overseeing the travel arrangements for Defense personnel, including planning schedules, booking flights and hotel accommodations, and managing travel expenses. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient defense travel policies and procedures.
- Plan and book travel arrangements for Defense personnel, including flights, hotel accommodations, and transportation services.
- Manage the travel budget, ensuring all expenses are within approved limits.
- Monitor changes in travel regulations and make necessary updates.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding quickly to any queries or complaints.
- Maintain accurate records of all travel arrangements and expenses.
- Monitor and review travel costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Offer travel advice and guidance to Defense personnel.
- Liaise with external vendors to negotiate rates and secure the best travel deals.
- Ensure all travel arrangements comply with Defense policies and regulations.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite
Ability To Read And Interpret Government Regulations
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
Experience In Processing Travel Documents
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills
Knowledge Of Defense Travel System (Dts) And Other Travel Software
