Job Description

If so, the United States Department of Defense (DoD) is seeking an experienced and motivated Child and Youth Program Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide a variety of services to support the well-being of children and youth in the DoD. We are looking for a candidate who will take initiative, build relationships, and develop innovative strategies to ensure the highest quality of care. To be successful in this role, you should have a friendly personality, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a dedication to the safety and development of children and youth. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a variety of services to support the well-being of children and youth in the DoD.
  2. Develop innovative strategies to ensure the highest quality of care.
  3. Build relationships with children and youth, their families, and other stakeholders.
  4. Assist with planning and implementing activities and events.
  5. Facilitate communication between parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities.
  7. Supervise children and youth during activities and events.
  8. Implement safety protocols and procedures.
  9. Monitor and evaluate program performance.
  10. Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
