United Natural Foods-UNFI is seeking a Supplier Merchandising Services Specialist to join our team. As a leading distributor of natural, organic, and specialty products, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services. In this role, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products, and supporting our overall merchandising strategy.   1. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient communication and delivery of products.
  2. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to support and execute merchandising strategies.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  5. Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and provide feedback to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any supplier-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  7. Keep track of market trends and competitor activity to make informed decisions about product selection and pricing.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
  9. Monitor and assess supplier risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
  10. Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for the company.
  11. Keep accurate records and documentation of supplier interactions and transactions.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of supplier relations.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new strategies and initiatives to drive business growth.
  14. Stay updated on industry developments and trends to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement.
  15. Support and promote the company's mission and values, and maintain a positive and professional image in all supplier interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Supplier Merchandising Or Category Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers.
