- Accurately select and package natural, organic, and specialty products for distribution to customers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing job duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Use equipment and tools, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently and safely move products.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to product selection and packaging.
- Ensure that all products meet quality and freshness standards before packaging.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Communicate with supervisors and other team members to discuss any issues or concerns related to product selection and packaging.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic, representing the company's values and mission.
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to improve job skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations.
- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and productivity in the selection and packaging process.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all products are accurately selected and packaged according to customer orders.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Repack Selector Job At Unfi Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: Repack Selectors At Unfi Are Required To Perform Physically Demanding Tasks Such As Lifting And Carrying Heavy Boxes, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Operating Equipment. Therefore, Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Handle The Job's Physical Demands.
Experience In A Warehouse Environment: Prior Experience Working In A Warehouse, Preferably In A Repack Or Distribution Center, Is Often Preferred By Unfi For A Repack Selector Position. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Familiarity With Warehouse Operations, Safety Protocols, And Equipment.
Attention To Detail: Repack Selectors Are Responsible For Accurately Selecting And Packing Products According To Customer Orders. This Requires Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure That The Correct Products And Quantities Are Selected And Packaged Accurately.
Teamwork And Communication Skills: Unfi Values Teamwork And Effective Communication Within Their Warehouses. A Repack Selector Must Be Able To Work Well With Others, Communicate Effectively With Team Members And Supervisors, And Follow Instructions To Ensure A Smooth And Efficient Operation.
