  1. Develop and implement company-wide environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to assess and mitigate risks in their respective areas of responsibility.
  4. Provide guidance and training to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Investigate and report on any accidents, injuries, or incidents in the workplace, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Stay up-to-date on all relevant EHS regulations and industry trends, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all EHS activities and incidents.
  8. Facilitate and lead safety committee meetings to discuss and address EHS concerns and initiatives.
  9. Monitor and manage the company's waste disposal and recycling programs.
  10. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and obtain necessary permits and certifications.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans to ensure the safety and well-being of employees in the event of a crisis.
  12. Serve as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies regarding EHS matters.
  13. Communicate with all levels of the organization to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  14. Analyze data and provide regular reports to management on EHS performance and improvement initiatives.
  15. Act as a role model and champion for EHS initiatives, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Ehs Management In A Warehouse Or Distribution Environment

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Ehs Regulations And Compliance Requirements

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Ehs Programs, Policies, And Procedures

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Engage Employees At All Levels Of The Organization
