Job Description

The Principal DevOps Engineer will have a background in development, operations, and full-stack software implementations. Research, define, and implement new standards for infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline development. Train and mentor Junior and Senior Devops engineers. Prepare and deliver material for Digital Technology Executives. Perform some day to day DevOps delivery duties including:

  • Collect automation requirements from development teams
  • Design devops pipelines for applications based on existing company standards
  • Build cloud infrastructure pipelines based on existing company standards
  • Build CI/CD pipelines based on existing company standards for cloud applications

Job Qualifications

  • 10 + years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development

  • Experience optimizing applications, both stand-alone and in distributed systems to maximize performance

  • Experience maintaining an infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new features

  • Familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS infrastructure tools (EBS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, VPC)

  • Deep knowledge of AWS automation tools such as Code Pipeline, Code Build, etc.
