Job Description

In this role you will work closely with and support the supervisor on the monthly accounting, quarterly reporting, and other finance processes. You will assist in maintaining databases accuracy for reporting and financial analysis purposes. Perform financial analysis and interpretation, supporting the investment portfolio. Contributing with investor reporting duties. Forecast preparation and ownership over flux analysis of MoM, Variance against budget, and changes in Actuals vs prior forecast, and how transactions impact the future forecast and other PM team members, requiring quantitative and qualitative analysis. Prepare transactions for the database (such as equity projection updates, tax return and financial statement updates) and month end reconciliations. Ownership over monthly month-end close preparation and memo of notable items and track open items to follow-up and resolve.

Job Qualifications

5+ years of public accounting, finance, and/or FP&A experience or equivalent
Advanced working knowledge of U.S. GAAP Accounting to be able to propose journal entries (Fund Financials, etc.).
Able to interpret formulas within a workbook and understand its intended goal.
Exposure to affordable housing is a plus.
