Job Description

Partnering closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders across the business and Corporate Communications to help identify and drive internal and external communications priorities for the wholesale banking business. Developing strong working relationships with relevant business/financial and trade media across various channels. Pursuing proactive press and broadcast opportunities tying back to MUFG’s wholesale banking priorities in the U.S. Developing and executing strategic internal and external communications initiatives in support of business priorities. Acting as the lead communications contact for the bank’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) group, helping drive their initiatives forward. Collaborating with communications colleagues across the globe to share best practices and align strategies.

Job Qualifications

5-7 years’ experience in corporate communications or journalism within the financial services industry and/or agency.
A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a proactive, self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
Understanding of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors as they relate to capital markets and investment banking.
