Job Description

Maintain and preserve integrity of data used in marketing material. Update trading levels for outstanding bonds by monitoring trading activity, reviewing market maker quotes and conferring with Sales and Trading. Perform credit analysis on behalf of potential and existing public bond issuers, particularly those with existing credit ratings. In conjunction with Syndicate, develop indicative pricing for prospective issuers based on comparable analysis and peer trading levels. Create and update relative valuation matrices to establish market and credit-based arguments for indicative cost of debt capital. Remain current on conditions in the global capital markets with an emphasis on US fixed income markets. Draft Sales Memo provided to Sales and Trading to facilitate sale of transaction. Assist in arranging market update calls, due diligence sessions, and investor telephonic marketing.

Job Qualifications

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects or transactions with near-term deadlines.
Ability to integrate into a team and develop working relationships with MUFG staff in different cultures and geographies.
Prior work experience and/or internships at financial institutions may be supportive.
CFA or working towards certification a plus/desired.
