In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business by developing and executing strategic plans for our product categories.   1. Develop and execute strategic plans for product categories in alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of category strategies.
  4. Monitor and track performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of category strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Conduct regular market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  6. Provide expert guidance on category management best practices and industry trends.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of category managers to drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in consumer preferences to inform category strategies.
  10. Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and ensure consistency in approach and execution.
  11. Develop and manage the category budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to drive growth.
  12. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on category performance and strategic initiatives.
  13. Drive innovation and identify new product opportunities within the category.
  14. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability within the category.
  15. Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Category Strategy And Planning, Preferably In The Consumer Goods Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Executing Category Strategies, Resulting In Increased Sales And Profitability.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Use Data And Insights To Develop Strategic Plans And Make Informed Decisions.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Executives To Drive Results And Influence Decision-Making.
