  1. Design and develop automation and control systems for ice cream production processes.
  2. Implement new and innovative technologies to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to automation and controls.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of automated systems.
  5. Conduct regular maintenance and updates to existing automation systems.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation and controls.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols for all automation systems.
  8. Create and maintain documentation for all automation processes and systems.
  9. Train and educate team members on the use and maintenance of automated systems.
  10. Continuously analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  11. Develop and manage project timelines and budgets for automation projects.
  12. Identify and implement cost-saving measures in automation processes.
  13. Stay informed of Unilever's ice cream brands and products to ensure automation systems meet production needs.
  14. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source necessary equipment and components.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering: A Degree In Engineering Is Essential For An Ice Cream Automation And Controls Engineer As It Provides The Necessary Technical Knowledge And Skills To Design And Maintain Automated Systems.

  • Experience In Industrial Automation: Candidates Should Have 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing, Programming, And Maintaining Automation Systems In A Manufacturing Environment. This Includes Experience With Plcs, Hmi, Scada, And Other Automation Software.

  • Knowledge Of Ice Cream Production Processes: A Strong Understanding Of The Ice Cream Production Process Is Important For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of The Different Types Of Ice Cream Equipment, Such As Freezers, Mixers, And Extruders, And How They Work Together To Produce High-Quality Ice Cream.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: Candidates Should Have Experience With Programming Languages Such As Ladder Logic, Structured Text, And Function Block Diagram. Familiarity With Other Programming Languages Like C++, Python, Or Java Is Also Beneficial.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: As An Ice Cream Automation And Controls Engineer, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Identifying And Troubleshooting Issues In The Automation Process. Strong Problem-Solving Skills Are Also Important In Finding Efficient And Effective Solutions To Improve The Automation Process.
