  1. Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Organize and maintain inventory levels in the stockroom, ensuring all products are easily accessible.
  3. Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to management.
  4. Label and price merchandise according to company standards.
  5. Assist with visual merchandising by maintaining neat and organized displays.
  6. Work closely with sales associates to ensure merchandise is stocked and readily available for customers.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and requests for specific products, providing excellent customer service.
  8. Communicate effectively with management regarding stock levels and any issues or concerns.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures for handling and storing merchandise.
  10. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the stockroom.
  11. Keep track of and report any damaged or defective products.
  12. Assist with restocking and replenishing sales floor as needed.
  13. Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  14. Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and objectives set by management.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: The Ability To Effectively Manage Inventory And Merchandise Is Crucial For A Stock Associate. This Includes Keeping Track Of Stock Levels, Restocking Shelves, And Maintaining A Clean And Organized Stockroom.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Stock Associate, It Is Important To Pay Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy In Inventory Management And Stock Labeling. This Also Includes Being Able To Recognize And Report Any Damaged Or Defective Products.

  • Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Physical Labor, Such As Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise. A Stock Associate Must Have The Physical Stamina To Handle These Tasks On A Regular Basis.

  • Time Management Skills: Stock Associates Must Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Effectively. This Includes Being Able To Work Efficiently To Meet Deadlines For Restocking And Inventory Management.

  • Teamwork And Communication: Stock Associates Must Be Able To Work Well With Others And Communicate Effectively With Team Members And Other Store Employees. This Includes Being Able To Take Direction And Work Collaboratively To Achieve Common Goals.
