  1. Develop innovative and high-performance footwear designs for the performance running market.
  2. Stay up-to-date with current trends, materials, and technology in the running industry.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create designs that align with brand strategy and meet customer needs.
  4. Lead the design process from concept development to final product, ensuring a cohesive and compelling product line.
  5. Conduct market research to identify gaps in the market and opportunities for growth.
  6. Create and present design concepts, sketches, and prototypes to internal teams and external partners.
  7. Oversee the development and execution of technical drawings and specifications for production.
  8. Work closely with product development and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
  9. Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery of products.
  10. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers on the team.
  11. Continuously strive for improvement and innovation in design processes and techniques.
  12. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, building relationships and staying current with industry developments.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Footwear Design: A Sr. Footwear Designer For Performance Running At Under Armour Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Designing Athletic Footwear, With A Focus On Performance Running. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Latest Design Trends And Techniques In The Industry.

  • Expert Knowledge Of Performance Running: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Performance Running Market, Including The Needs And Preferences Of Runners, As Well As An Understanding Of The Technical Aspects Of Running Shoes Such As Cushioning, Stability, And Traction.
