- Develop original and innovative print and pattern designs that align with the brand's vision and aesthetic.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and incorporate them into designs in a unique and creative way.
- Collaborate with a team of designers to brainstorm and develop new ideas for product lines.
- Conduct extensive research on market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
- Create detailed technical specifications for print and pattern designs, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Work closely with the production team to oversee the sampling and production process, ensuring the final product meets design specifications.
- Communicate and present design concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and sales.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely and efficient execution of design tasks.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the brand's target market and design products that resonate with consumers.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the brand's print and pattern designs, staying ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to gather inspiration and stay informed about the latest developments in the fashion industry.
- Collaborate with the sourcing team to select and source materials for print and pattern designs.
- Create mock-ups and prototypes of designs to present to the team for feedback and revisions.
- Contribute to the overall design direction and vision of the brand, helping to shape and evolve the product line.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Graphic Design Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Print And Pattern Design For Apparel Or Accessories.
Proficiency In Design Software Such As Adobe Illustrator And Photoshop.
Strong Understanding Of Color Theory, Typography, And Composition.
Experience In Creating Innovative And Trend-Forward Designs That Align With The Under Armor Brand Aesthetic.
