- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, visual merchandising, operations, and real estate to develop and implement store plans that align with company goals and strategies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of store performance and customer trends to inform future store planning decisions.
- Identify and recommend new store locations based on market research and analysis.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers to understand their needs and provide support in implementing store plans.
- Monitor and analyze store layouts and sales data to make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations in retail space planning to continually improve processes and strategies.
- Manage and maintain store planning tools and systems to ensure accurate and efficient planning processes.
- Collaborate with store design teams to ensure that store layouts are aligned with brand standards and customer experience goals.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess and gather feedback on store layouts and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate and present store plans and performance to senior leadership.
- Train and mentor junior members of the store planning team.
- Continuously evaluate and implement strategies to improve store productivity, efficiency, and overall customer experience.
Degree In Architecture Or Interior Design: A Strong Background In Architecture Or Interior Design Is Essential For A Planner In Store Planning At Under Armour. This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Spatial Planning, Building Codes, And Design Principles.
Experience In Retail Store Planning: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In Retail Store Planning, Preferably Within The Athletic Apparel Industry. This Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge Of Store Layouts, Fixtures, And Merchandising Strategies Specific To The Retail Industry.
