
Assistant Store Manager (40 Hours) - Algarve
Welcome to Under Armor, where our mission is to empower athletes everywhere. We are currently seeking a driven and dynamic individual to join our team as the Assistant Store Manager for our Algarve location. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone who is passionate about our brand and has a strong background in retail management. - Oversee daily operations of the Algarve store, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet targets.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking and product assortment.
- Assist in creating schedules and managing payroll for store employees.
- Ensure the store is visually appealing and all displays are properly maintained.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for store employees and provide feedback for improvement.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Under Armor products, brand messaging, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and execute marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and make recommendations for improvement to drive sales.
- Assist in conducting inventory audits and implementing loss prevention measures.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient store operations.
- Act as a strong brand ambassador and represent the company values and mission.
- Complete any other tasks or projects as assigned by the Store Manager.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In The Athletic Apparel Industry.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Employees.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of At Least 10 Employees.
Knowledge Of Sales And Marketing Strategies To Drive Store Performance And Meet Sales Targets.
Flexibility To Work 40 Hours Per Week, Including Weekends And Holidays, As Well As The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
