  1. Assist in the management of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
  2. Help drive sales by providing exceptional customer service and promoting Under Armour products and promotions.
  3. Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs, and take initiative to identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Train and develop store associates to provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  5. Ensure store visual standards are met and maintained to create an inviting and on-brand shopping environment.
  6. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new store team members.
  7. Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement strategies to increase store profitability.
  8. Take ownership of store merchandising and replenishment to ensure product availability and presentation.
  9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean store environment, following all company policies and procedures.
  11. Continuously strive to improve store processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  12. Represent the Under Armour brand and culture by embodying our core values and promoting a positive work environment.
  13. Assist with scheduling and managing store staff to ensure adequate coverage and adherence to company policies.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to make informed business decisions.
  15. Support the Store Manager in completing administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and inventory management.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Retail Management: A Strong Background In Managing A Retail Store, Preferably In The Athletic Apparel Industry, Is Essential For An Assistant Store Manager At Under Armor.

  • Excellent Leadership Skills: The Ability To Effectively Supervise And Motivate A Team Of Employees Is Crucial For Success In This Role. The Assistant Store Manager Should Have Experience In Delegating Tasks, Providing Feedback, And Resolving Conflicts Within The Team.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Under Armor Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And The Assistant Store Manager Should Be Able To Lead By Example In This Area. A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor, Along With The Ability To Handle Difficult Customer Situations, Is Necessary.

  • Knowledge Of Under Armor Products: A Deep Understanding Of The Under Armor Brand, Products, And Target Market Is Important For An Assistant Store Manager. This Includes Knowledge Of Current And Upcoming Collections, As Well As The Ability To Recommend Products To Customers Based On Their Needs.

  • Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: The Assistant Store Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Various Aspects Of Store Operations, Including Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Scheduling.
