- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of UKG's systems, networks, and data in order to identify and assess potential security threats.
- Monitor security alerts and events from various sources and investigate any potential security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls and procedures to prevent and mitigate cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and provide recommendations for proactive measures to enhance UKG's security posture.
- Coordinate with external security vendors and partners to ensure the effectiveness of security tools and services.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Manage and maintain security tools and systems, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Train and educate employees on security best practices and conduct regular security awareness campaigns.
- Develop and maintain security metrics and reports to track and measure the effectiveness of security controls and procedures.
- Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Continuously review and improve security processes and procedures to enhance overall security posture.
- Serve as a key point of contact for security incidents and provide timely updates to stakeholders and management.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Threats And Mitigation Strategies: A Senior Security & Threat Monitoring Analyst At Ultimate Kronos Group Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Cyber Threats Such As Malware, Phishing, Ransomware, And Social Engineering. They Should Also Be Familiar With Different Mitigation Strategies And Techniques To Protect The Organization's Digital Assets.
Experience In Threat Monitoring And Incident Response: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Monitoring And Responding To Security Threats And Incidents. They Should Be Able To Analyze And Investigate Security Alerts, Identify Potential Risks, And Take Appropriate Action To Mitigate Them.
Strong Technical Skills: This Role Requires A Strong Technical Background, Including Knowledge Of Network Security, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Other Security Tools. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Siem (Security Information And Event Management) Systems And Be Proficient In Scripting And Coding Languages.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Security & Threat Monitoring Analyst Should Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify, Troubleshoot, And Resolve Security Issues. They Should Be Able To Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions To Protect The Organization's Data And Systems.
Communication And Teamwork: This Role Requires Collaboration With Various Teams, Including It, Risk Management, And Compliance.
