- Create and design innovative user interfaces and experiences for Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) software and products.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors to inform design decisions.
- Lead and manage a team of UI and UX designers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of design projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into design solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve and iterate on designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI and UX design to drive innovation and elevate UKG's products.
- Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and brand alignment across all products.
- Mentor and coach junior designers to foster growth and development within the team.
- Communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and gather feedback to refine designs.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure design solutions are accessible and comply with industry standards and guidelines.
- Continuously monitor and analyze user data to identify areas for improvement and propose design solutions.
- Act as a thought leader and advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.
- Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap by providing valuable insights and recommendations based on user research and data analysis.
Extensive Experience In Ui And Ux Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Successful Ui And Ux Designs For Various Digital Products And Platforms.
Strong Understanding Of Design Principles And Best Practices: A Lead Ui & Ux Designer Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Design Principles, Including User-Centered Design, Accessibility, And Responsive Design.
Proficiency In Design Tools And Software: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Command Of Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, And Others. Knowledge Of Coding Languages Such As Html, Css, And Javascript Is Also Highly Desirable.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Lead Designer, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team Of Designers. They Should Also Have Experience In Project Management, Including Setting Timelines, Managing Budgets, And Coordinating With Cross-Functional Teams.
