Job Description

If so, Ulta Beauty is looking for a dynamic and organized Merchandising Coordinator to join our team! As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall visual aesthetic of our stores and ensuring that our products are displayed in a way that is both eye-catching and easy to shop. If you have a strong understanding of retail merchandising principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, we want to hear from you!

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with company goals and drive sales.
  2. Ensure all product displays are visually appealing, properly stocked, and follow company guidelines.
  3. Regularly review and maintain the overall aesthetic of the store, including window displays, signage, and promotional areas.
  4. Create and implement planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales.
  5. Conduct regular store walkthroughs to identify any merchandising opportunities and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Train and educate store associates on proper merchandising techniques and product knowledge.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the buying team to restock popular or in-demand products.
  8. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure promotional and seasonal displays are executed flawlessly.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Maintain visual standards and consistency across all stores within the region.
  11. Assist in setting up and executing special events and store promotions.
  12. Communicate any merchandising issues or concerns to upper management in a timely manner.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention measures.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate the merchandising process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
