1. Manage merchandise operations for Ulta Beauty stores, ensuring that products are stocked and displayed in an appealing and effective manner.
2. Work closely with buyers, planners, and vendors to identify and procure the latest and most desired beauty products for our stores.
3. Monitor sales and inventory levels to make strategic product recommendations and ensure optimal stock levels at all times.
4. Analyze market trends and customer preferences to make informed decisions about product assortment and placement.
5. Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and meet business objectives.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, visual merchandising, and store operations, to ensure cohesive and impactful merchandising execution.
7. Train and mentor store teams on merchandising best practices and ensure consistent implementation across all locations.
8. Conduct regular store visits and audits to assess merchandise presentation and make necessary improvements.
9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as sales, inventory levels, and customer feedback, to measure the success of merchandising initiatives.
10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions.
11. Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards and guidelines.
12. Manage and track merchandise budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
13. Act as a brand ambassador for Ulta Beauty, promoting our mission and values both internally and externally.
14. Participate in company meetings and trainings to share merchandising insights and contribute to business strategy.
