- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the cash registers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Train and mentor cashiers on customer service skills, company policies, and procedures.
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with the store management team to create and implement strategies to improve the overall customer experience.
- Monitor and maintain proper cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in scheduling and assigning tasks to cashiers to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation of the cash registers.
- Conduct cash register audits and provide feedback and coaching to cashiers to improve performance.
- Work closely with the Loss Prevention team to prevent and detect any fraudulent or suspicious activities at the cash registers.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and events to effectively assist customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies as needed.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the store management team in a timely manner.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience and increase efficiency.
Previous Retail Experience: A Lead Cashier At Ulta Beauty Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably As A Cashier. This Experience Will Provide A Strong Foundation For Understanding The Company's Procedures And Policies.
