1. Oversee the daily operations of the cash register and ensure smooth and efficient transactions for customers.
2. Train and mentor cashiers on proper procedures and provide ongoing support and guidance.
3. Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers by greeting them with a smile and providing exceptional service.
4. Monitor and maintain cash register accuracy, including handling cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
5. Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
6. Collaborate with the store management team to ensure all cash handling policies and procedures are followed.
7. Assist in the scheduling and staffing of cashiers to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
8. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking products as needed.
9. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
10. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
11. Lead by example by providing excellent customer service and representing the Ulta Beauty brand.
12. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including cash handling, balancing registers, and securing the store.
13. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
14. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect company assets and minimize loss.
15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
