- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Train and supervise cashiers to ensure they are providing excellent customer service and following proper cash handling procedures.
- Monitor cashier performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all cashiers are following company policies and procedures.
- Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the store and lead by example in providing excellent customer service.
- Stay up-to-date on beauty products, trends, and promotions to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
- Assist in managing inventory and restocking products as needed.
- Collaborate with other store leaders to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate sales goals, new products, and any updates or changes in company policies.
- Uphold and enforce all safety and security protocols in the store.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash wrap area and ensure all cashiers are doing the same.
- Follow company guidelines for opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to cashiers.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Lead Cashier Should Have Experience In Managing And Motivating A Team Of Cashiers To Ensure Excellent Customer Service And Efficient Operations At The Checkout.
Cash Handling And Pos System Experience: A Lead Cashier Should Be Proficient In Handling Cash And Credit Transactions And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Ulta Beauty's Point-Of-Sale (Pos) System.
Customer Service Orientation: As The First Point Of Contact For Customers, The Lead Cashier Should Have Exceptional Customer Service Skills And Be Able To Handle Any Customer Inquiries Or Complaints Effectively.
Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: With The Responsibility Of Overseeing The Entire Checkout Process, The Lead Cashier Should Have Strong Organizational Skills And Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
Retail Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Particularly In The Beauty Industry, Is Preferred For A Lead Cashier Position At Ulta Beauty. This Will Ensure A Good Understanding Of The Company's Products And Services, As Well As The Ability To Promote And Upsell To Customers.
