- Oversee all cash transactions and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Train and support a team of cashiers in providing exceptional customer service.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and promoting a positive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Monitor and maintain cash levels and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by cashiers.
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during business hours.
- Conduct cash audits and report any discrepancies to management.
- Assist in training and onboarding new cashiers.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date on all current promotions and sales to accurately process transactions.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Previous Retail Experience: A Lead Cashier At Ulta Beauty Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading A Team And Managing Daily Operations, Including Scheduling, Training, And Performance Management.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Lead Cashier, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members, Providing Clear And Concise Instructions And Resolving Any Issues That May Arise.
Cash Handling Experience: The Lead Cashier Will Be Responsible For Handling And Reconciling Large Amounts Of Cash, So Experience In Cash Handling Procedures And Accuracy Is Crucial.
Knowledge Of Beauty Products: Ulta Beauty Offers A Wide Range Of Beauty Products, So A Lead Cashier Should Have A Basic Understanding Of The Products And Brands Sold At The Store To Assist Customers And Provide Product Recommendations.
