- Greet and welcome customers to Ulta Beauty with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
- Train and mentor new cashiers on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Oversee the cash wrap area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Resolve any customer inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the store manager to maintain proper cash handling procedures and enforce loss prevention policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers.
- Act as a role model for exceptional customer service, leading by example and providing coaching and feedback to cashiers.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any product needs to the appropriate team members.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including counting and balancing cash drawers.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals while providing exceptional service to customers.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Ulta Beauty products and promotions to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and new product launches.
- Adhere to all company safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment for customers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the store manager.
Prior Supervisory Experience: A Lead Cashier At Ulta Beauty Should Have Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Customer Service Setting.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Lead Cashier, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Cashiers And Ensuring That Customers Have A Positive Experience. Therefore, Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Crucial For This Role.
Cash Handling Experience: The Lead Cashier Should Have Previous Experience Handling Cash And Credit Transactions. They Should Be Able To Accurately Count And Reconcile Cash Drawers And Troubleshoot Any Discrepancies.
Knowledge Of Ulta Beauty Products: It Is Essential For A Lead Cashier To Have A Strong Knowledge Of Ulta Beauty's Products And Services, Including Makeup, Skincare, Haircare, And Fragrance. This Will Enable Them To Assist Customers And Provide Recommendations.
