  1. Greet and welcome customers to Ulta Beauty in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customers' needs and concerns.
  3. Use extensive knowledge of the beauty industry and Ulta Beauty's products to assist customers in finding the best products for their individual needs.
  4. Keep up-to-date on new beauty trends, products, and techniques in order to make knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
  5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure return business.
  6. Demonstrate and promote Ulta Beauty's values and brand image while interacting with customers.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including product displays and testers.
  8. Actively participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge of beauty products and techniques.
  9. Effectively communicate with team members and management to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
  10. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  11. Meet and exceed sales goals through effective product recommendations and customer service.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those regarding safety, security, and loss prevention.
  13. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and contribute to overall store success.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Trends: A Beauty Advisor At Ulta Beauty Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Beauty Products, Brands, And Trends In The Industry. This Includes Makeup, Skincare, Haircare, And Fragrance Products.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Beauty Advisor, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Explain And Recommend Products, As Well As Provide Excellent Customer Service.

  • Sales Experience: Ulta Beauty Is A Retail Store, And A Key Aspect Of The Beauty Advisor Role Is To Drive Sales. Candidates With Previous Sales Experience, Especially In A Beauty Or Retail Environment, Will Be Highly Valued For This Position.

  • Makeup Application Skills: While Not A Requirement For All Locations, Many Ulta Beauty Stores Offer Makeup Services To Customers. Therefore, Having Strong Makeup Application Skills And The Ability To Create Various Looks Is A Valuable Qualification For A Beauty Advisor Role.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Ulta Beauty Is A Fast-Paced And Ever-Changing Environment. Beauty Advisors Should Be Able To Adapt To Changes In Store Operations, Promotions, And Product Offerings. This Role Also Requires Flexibility In Work Hours, As It May Include Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays.
