As a Beauty Advisor, you will be an integral part of our store's success, using your expertise to help our customers look and feel their best.   1. Greet and welcome customers to Ulta Beauty with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing their beauty needs and concerns.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques in order to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
  4. Utilize strong sales skills to promote and sell products, services, and loyalty programs to customers.
  5. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with customers to create a loyal customer base and increase sales.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
  8. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets.
  9. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Ulta Beauty's products and services in order to effectively communicate with customers.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety protocols and cash handling procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Beauty Products: A Beauty Advisor At Ulta Beauty Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Beauty Products, Including Makeup, Skincare, Haircare, And Fragrance. They Should Be Able To Provide Product Recommendations And Educate Customers On The Benefits And Uses Of Various Products.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Beauty Advisor, It Is Essential To Have Exceptional Customer Service Skills To Provide A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Communicate Effectively With A Diverse Range Of Customers.

  • Sales And Marketing Experience: Beauty Advisors Are Responsible For Promoting And Selling Products To Customers. Therefore, Having Experience In Sales And Marketing, Including Product Displays, Promotions, And Upselling Techniques, Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Makeup Application Techniques: Ulta Beauty Offers Makeup Services, And A Beauty Advisor Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Makeup Application Techniques To Provide Services To Customers. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Makeup Looks, Techniques, And Tools.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Ulta Beauty Stores Can Get Busy, Especially During Peak Hours. A Beauty Advisor Must Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced Environment, Multitask, And Work Efficiently To Provide Excellent Customer Service And Achieve Sales Targets.
