  1. Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers' needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  3. Share knowledge and expertise on beauty products and trends to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  4. Demonstrate and promote various beauty products to customers, highlighting their features and benefits.
  5. Assist customers in creating their ideal beauty look by providing personalized recommendations and tips.
  6. Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques to better serve customers.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including product displays and testers.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing personalized and attentive service.
  9. Meet and exceed sales goals by effectively promoting and selling products to customers.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth within the beauty industry.
  13. Represent the Ulta Beauty brand with professionalism and integrity at all times.
  14. Provide feedback to management on customer needs, product requests, and overall store operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Trends: A Beauty Advisor At Ulta Beauty Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Different Beauty Products, Brands, And Current Trends In The Industry. This Knowledge Will Allow Them To Effectively Recommend Products And Provide Expert Advice To Customers.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Beauty Advisor, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Crucial For Providing A Positive And Helpful Shopping Experience For Customers.

  • Sales And Marketing Experience: Ulta Beauty Is A Retail Store, And Beauty Advisors Are Responsible For Selling Products To Customers. Having Prior Sales And Marketing Experience Will Be Beneficial In This Role, As It Will Help You Effectively Promote And Sell Products.

  • Ability To Perform Makeovers And Provide Beauty Services: Beauty Advisors At Ulta Beauty Are Expected To Be Able To Perform Makeovers And Provide Beauty Services Such As Facials And Eyebrow Shaping. Having Prior Experience In A Similar Role Or Relevant Training Will Be An Advantage.

  • Flexibility And Willingness To Learn: The Beauty Industry Is Constantly Evolving, And New Products And Techniques Are Being Introduced All The Time. A Successful Beauty Advisor At Ulta Beauty Should Be Open To Learning And Adapting To New Trends And Products. They Should Also Be Able To Work Flexible Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays.
