  1. Greet and welcome customers to Ulta Beauty with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer needs and concerns.
  3. Utilize expert knowledge of makeup, skincare, and haircare products to assist customers in finding the best products for their needs.
  4. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing personalized recommendations and follow-up assistance.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current beauty trends and products to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  6. Act as a brand ambassador for Ulta Beauty, promoting our mission to empower everyone to express their unique beauty.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including product displays and testers.
  8. Complete transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
  9. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless customer experience.
  10. Continuously improve product knowledge through training and education opportunities.
  11. Actively participate in store events and promotions to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  13. Communicate any customer feedback or concerns to store management.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Ulta Beauty in a positive light to customers and team members.
  15. Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment by treating all team members and customers with respect and kindness.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven Experience In The Beauty Industry: A Beauty Advisor At Ulta Beauty Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Beauty Industry, Preferably In A Retail Setting. This Will Ensure That They Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Beauty Products And Trends, And Can Effectively Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products For Their Needs.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: A Beauty Advisor Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Provide Top-Notch Customer Service. They Should Be Friendly, Approachable, And Knowledgeable, And Be Able To Build Relationships With Customers To Ensure Their Satisfaction.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Beauty Products: A Thorough Understanding Of Different Beauty Products, Their Ingredients, And Their Uses Is Crucial For A Beauty Advisor. They Should Be Able To Provide Accurate And Detailed Information To Customers And Make Recommendations Based On Their Needs And Preferences.

  • Sales And Goal-Oriented Mindset: Ulta Beauty Is A Retail Store, And As Such, Beauty Advisors Should Have A Strong Sales Mindset. They Should Be Able To Meet And Exceed Sales Goals, Upsell Products, And Drive Store Revenue.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Ulta Beauty Is A Fast-Paced And Constantly Changing Environment, So Beauty Advisors Should Be Able To Adapt To New Products, Trends, And Procedures Quickly. They Should Also Be Able To Work Flexible Hours, Including Nights And Weekends, To Meet The Needs Of The Business.
