Uline is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to think strategically and proactively in order to maintain all of Uline's facilities.Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or a related field, 5+ years of experience in facilities management, and strong organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate should also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in order to effectively manage a variety of tasks. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans for facilities maintenance, repair, and improvement.
- Monitor and inspect facilities to ensure they meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with vendors on service contracts, cost savings, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to safety and health.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee facility construction, relocation, and remodeling projects.
- Manage the budget for facilities and ensure that all expenses are within allocated limits.
- Monitor and forecast occupancy needs and adjust space allocation accordingly.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
